As we move further into a world where children are able to access the internet from a multitude of devices and interact with others online across the world, it is essential that we provide pupils with the necessary skills to use the internet responsibly and respectfully. Children need to recognise and evaluate potential risks whilst also acknowledging the huge benefits of having access to the internet has on our lives.
Wansdyke held an Digital safeguarding talk for parents to share current statistics and advice in relation to ESafety (17/5/16). We also explained how as a school we keep pupils safe online and how we teach pupils about ESafety within the curriculum. Thank you to all parents who attended.
Below are the handouts from the ESafety talk. Thank you to Wiltshire Council Learning Trust for allowing us to use and share your resources.
