Our Year 5 children had an unforgettable day at Winchester Planetarium, filled with curiosity, discovery, and plenty of wide‑eyed wonder. The visit began with time to explore the interactive exhibits, where the children immersed themselves in hands‑on activities that brought space science to life. From investigating planets to experimenting with light and sound, their enthusiasm was infectious.
The highlight of the trip was stepping inside the planetarium itself. As the lights dimmed and the dome lit up with stars, the children were taken on a captivating journey through the night sky. They learned how to spot key constellations and heard the stories behind them, sparking imaginations and inspiring plenty of questions on the journey home.

It was a brilliant day of learning beyond the classroom, and the children represented the school beautifully throughout.
